Sunflower Chocolate Cake


* Pack of 340 grams of chocolate cake mix with butter

* 1 quantity of chocolate ganache (see related recipes)

* Wagon Wheel 1

* 1 teaspoon chocolate sprinkles

Pure icing sugar *, sifted

* Bag of 350g ready-to-white

* Smooth the icing (see note)

Yellow food coloring * (see note)



Grease and line a 6 cm deep, 20 cm (base) round pan. Prepare and bake cake according to package directions.


Stand in pan for 10 minutes. Turn onto a wire rack to cool completely.


Position the cake board cake. Set aside 1 teaspoon of ganache. Spread the remaining ganache over the top and sides of cake.


Lightly spread the top and sides with ganache Wagon Wheel reserved. Chocolate sprinkles spread over the city center. Put on top of the cake. Stand at room temperature for 1-2 hours or until the ganache is firm.


Dust a flat surface and your hands with icing sugar. Knead until smooth sweet cherry and soft, adding more icing sugar if it feels sticky. Use your thumb to push a small depression in the glaze. Add a few drops of food coloring into depression. Knead until color is evenly distributed. Add more color if necessary, but not to add too much or icing is sticky. Wrap in plastic wrap. Keep your hands and sprinkled with icing sugar.


Make outer petals: Take 3 teaspoons of yellow ice (the size of a walnut). On a roll of 1 cm thickness of 10 cm sausage, long time. Making inner petals: Take 3 / 4 teaspoon yellow icing (about the size of hazelnut). Follow the method of the outer petals, spreading an oval shape, 5 cm long. Gently squeeze both ends. Put on top of the cake. Repeat 11 times form 12 petals.


Make edging: Shape remaining icing into pea balls. Around the base for the cake.

Paste food coloring will give you a darker color than the regular food coloring. It is available in stores cake decorating and cooking.
